My 06 H3 has the factory single disc, xm radio with six speakers.  I really want to upgrade to the monsoon system and have been told that the wiring is not there for the rear amp/sub-woofer.  I would be willing to upgrade the radio also.  Using all factory Hummer units. Any opinion about if I am able to do this.  I have not removed the rear left panel to see if the wiring is ran to that location.

You will have to run a wiring harness  to the back. It can be done but its a real pain.

For the average person the monsoon is a great system. If you don't already have it you will have to replace the driver side rear plastic  thingymajigger with the hickeymadoodle made for monsoon. This will take away the storage and give you an enclosure for your sub.You should look into the jl stealth box. This fits great and has much better bass because it is a ten''sub. It probably will cost you less than the monsoon sub that is an 8''...
