does anyone know the procedure for reprogramming the keyless entry system? I've found some instructions for other GM products, but they don't work on the  06 H3 I just bought.  All help appreciated.

You have to use a tech2 to program the remotes on a H3. The others can be done without one.

Its a scan tool that most shops have. Any new gm dealer will have one. Bascilly it is a pain to reset. Its not hard you just have to go to a shop to do it.

Thanks for the info, Auggie. It's a minor issue. Just wanted to get out of paying a shop for something I could do myself. I just joined. I think I'm gonna like this site.

Welcome Reggie! The Tech2 is basically an expensive programmer (Like a Diablo) but it can do so much more. GM uses it for Diagnostics and programming of all CPU's on a Vehicle, including the remotes.

GM Tech 2 diagnostic tool. Great tool, we have one. But the Tech 2 cannot collect the stored crash data. GM dealers are unable to collect the stored crash data using a Tech 2.
