Hey everyone. I am new to the site I have a question I have a 2003 H2 with a little over 100,000 miles I beleive I need a tune up 1. Is it a do it yourself or should I take it somewhere. I am somewhat mechanical but all I have done on my H2 is an oil change. 2. what all do I need (plugs, wire sets, fuel filter, PVC, )? 3. do I need OEM parts or can I replace with anything equal in performance. Thanks
Yes Plugs and wires are must, as well as the fuel filter (Your lucky because the 2003 is the only year that has an external fuel filter, now the challenge is can you get to the other side of the transmission cross-member!)
You should be able to find a couple posts on performance plugs and wires, you can do a search on the forum.
The PVC is a non-issue since it dosn't have any ball in the unit. just clean and re-install.
