Sorry you cant make on this trip. Hope to see you on the trails soon. I now have our H2 back out of the body shop so its time to get it ready for Barnwell.

is everybody getting ready for gilmer? my truck is washed, dan has changed out the tires and taken off the steps. now for the packing.
i have been keeping track of the predicted weather (what do they know) The temperature for friday and saturday is in the mid to upper 40's with the nights in the mid to upper 30's. they are predicting some possible thunderstorms, but that will probably change before we get there. just wanted to give everyone a heads up to pack for cold weather and possible rain.
we will see everyone on friday.

We packed the trailer last night and a I will finish packing the truck tonight . Its going to be a great trip. See everybody at 9 am at the walmart on hwy 105 in cleveland

I think its cool that I can geocache and off road at the same time. Since we have been to the park there have 2 caches placed there cant wait to find them.

we made it back, one truck short but we had a great weekend. dan and i want to thank auggie, james and tim the toolman for all their help with the H2.
in spite of the weather we had a grand weekend with great friends, great food and challenging trails in the rain and cold. it is such a fun experience when everyone pulls together to make sure that everyone gets  through the trails without carnage. we feel blessed when we get back from a tgchog event and we are greatful for all the old friends that we maintain and the new friends that we meet.
once again, thank you all. you are like family to us.

While getting some assistance in mounting the towbar to Linda's H3, I managed to pick up a Craftsman ratchet and socket. I assume it belongs to Auggie, James Coker or Tim the Toolman. I can hold on to it until we meet again, or I can drop it off with Auggie at Ron Carter HUMMER and you can pick it up there.
On a related note, I'd like to add my thanks to Auggie, James and Tim for their assistance Sunday. My truck was limping badly and you guys did the work.
