Hi I have a 03 H2 and i wish to install a duramax into it. I have a duramax out of my 04 4x4 3/4 ton HD truck. I have heard of this being done but would like some input from you guys on source or helpful tips. Any ideas? Thanks Chuck

http://www.hummertech.net/Engine_Swap/m_561/tm.htm Here is shortcut to the info you both are wanting...  Let me know if you go through with it.  We have had  alot of discussion on this before..  I have not seen or heard anyone doing this as of yet.
The top of the discussion talks about the H3 but the bottom has alot of links for what you need.
