hey i am heading to gilmer next weekend (october 18th), to let my new h3 stretch its legs a little. I think there is a trail clearing weekend going on there, is anyone else going?
here's a little bit of someting intresting, last weekend i went back home to louisiana to meet up with a friend and went to the naxja jeep and great. he is the local chapter president. i was the only hummer there of course, so i was getting sh1t from everyone. They had a RTI ramp competition and there were a bunch of guy with stock wranglers telling me "come on put that thing on there, i bet you dont get better 300 score" i put it on there and scored 458 on my first try. Beat them ALL, at least the stock wranglers anyway!

Congrats on the 458!! Some people just don't understand how good HUMMER's really are.
I would love to go to Gilmer on that weekend, but I will be working and off the weekend before at Alto.
Gilmer is a fun park to wheel at. Make sure you have some undercarriage protection and rock sliders before you go some of the trails can bite you if you aren't careful. LOL

well the weekend went great, went a bunch of three's, angry jeep made me pucker up pretty good at the end, i thought for sure i was going to bite it and roll the dam thing over. i dont have my sliders yet but i did put on a set of 285/75 Goodyear MTR's that worked out quite nicely.
i put a bunch of pics and video's of our trip on you tube.
