When people ask me why I drive a HUMMER I tell them many reasons, but these pictures speak more than words.

To give you a back ground on this wreck.  Two vehicles traveling in opposite direction one swerving in and out of traffic, the other just driving in there own lane the other car pulls out in front of the H2 and hits it head on.  It is unfortunate that the other driver did die in the wreck and the people in the H2 walked away with minor scratches and bruises.  If you really look at the pictures close the impact was so severe that it ripped the exhaust manifold bolts out of the engine block and broke the steel exhaust manifold in half.  I wish I had a better picture of the roof, because it was wrinkled very bad, but did not break the sunroof.  All 4 doors would also open.  So keep this in mind the next time someone asks you why you drive a HUMMER.

The price of safety far out ways anything else.  Plus they are fun to take off-road!
