Hello everyone, my name is Lee and I'm a new H3 owner.   I live in the Texas City/La Marque area.

I was getting my H3 cleaned up today at Hugh & Jeff's car wash & grill in League City when I saw another H3 being toweled dried.  Light grey H3 with a Gobi roof rack and rear step ladder.  I couldn't resist going outside to admire his ride and ask him a few questions about his vehicle.  While talking to him, I noticed the TGCHOG decal on his rear window and asked him about it.  He mentioned this website and that the group was a local group that does a lot of activities together.  Like I mentioned, I'm a new H3 owner and am really interested in getting out and meeting fellow owners as well as participating in some group events.

I've read over your organization's website and this is exactly what my wife and I were hoping to find.  After reading some of the posts related to your past and planned events, it seems like you have a lot of good members who all seem very positive and helpful.  I'll be filling out my application form and sending it along with our membership dues on Monday.

Anyways, I didn't get the name of the fellow I met today, but if you know who he is, tell him thanks for the information.

Thanks to both of you.  I mentioned the Christmas party to my wife, and we're going to try and make it.  It's the same weekend as the motorcycle rally and we plan to attend that.  However, since it's in December this year, it will be cold at night.  So, I think I've convinced her that a warm Christmas party would be more fun than a cold outdoor bike rally.

Auggie, I'll actually be in tomorrow for some warranty work on my H3.  I'll try to stop by and introduce myself.
