So, how do you guys feel about replicas?
Check the link in my sig, and you'll see my build in progress.
If you guys are purists, and consider replicas an insult, let me know, and I'll disappear.

Purists? Naw.. Love to drive a Hummer, Yes.  However, The section you posted in is a perfect example of a Hybrid. Hell, it's still GM right?

Hybrid = Replica (Same concept, just with a custom attitude!) Cool build!

I take it you like Camaro's?

Well, actually it's going to have an International Harvester engine,(ford) and a ford manual transmission. The frame rails are GM, and the axles as well.

Is this similar to show on Spike 4x4's "Urban Gorilla"?

It's close, but what I'm building will be a bit heavier, and a whole lot stronger.
The Suburban Gorrilla body is formed and spot welded sheet metal. My rocker panels are going to be 1/4" wall thickness rectangle tubing, so if I get T-boned by anything smaller than a sherman tank, I'll fix it with paint.
As far as the Suburban frame and axles and stuff, it's the same concept, but you buy the Urban Gorrilla body in a big crate for tons of money, and the Tremor, you buy a set of blue prints, and build the body yourself out of flat steel and tubing.

At this point, all the pics I have are the ones posted on the build link. Once I make some more progress, I'll post up.
