It's so hard to determine if programming the PCM really does increase the power enough to be beneficial. The H3 gearing and torque converter really steal the power of the engine. I know that the website posted this dyno result on a I5. It would be nice to find out from the programmers what they specifically get out of the H3 power wise and any benefits changing the transmission shifting.

Auggie, on another forum that I'm a member of there have been many who have had their PCM re-mapped. All have been happy with the results. There has also been a lot of diaolog between PCMforless and members of the forum. I don't know if I can post the specific forum name here, but if you PM me I'll be happy to give it to you.
Auggie, did you end up doing this? I'm considering the same thing. Is this the only way to tune our trucks? My last truck you could buy a tuner that plugged in to the diagnostic port and flash a tune that was emailed to you by a tuner or your own tune, if you were so inclined. You could also datalog any operation of the truck with a laptop and this programmer. Anything like that out there? Thanks

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Yes we had the pcm flashed on our H3 and it did make a big difference. PCM for less is a great company to work with. At this time there are no other programmers out there like we use on our H2.
