You can use the search function as well and should be able to find what your looking for.

First off, I can't believe the response you recieved from your post. I realize that it is a fairly frequently asked question, but it didn't deserve the blow-off that it got. I'm a new member on this forum, and seeing how it's a local forum I thought it might be a cool place to pick up some local info and share some of my experinces and learnings. What I've come to find out is that there isn't a whole lot of diaolog on a daily basis, and what is posted is pretty much by the same old people. And yes, you can find alot of information by using the search function but if everybody that had a question did that, this place would be even more dead then it already is.

So to try and answer you question: You didn't state whether it's a H1, H2, 0r H3 your talking about. A little more info is needed. If your talking about a H3, the stock offset is +34 on a 16" rim, and I believe the bolt pattern is 6 on 5.5.
I'm running 18" x 9" rims with a +12 offset and 35" tires.

Hope that helps.

Voodoo, your exactly right... after reading the responses I realized they were very short and I responded in a way that was also not helpful. My post was not ment to be a blow off, nor do I think ILUVHMRS post was either.  I personally will pay more attention to the question(s) at hand.   My apologies to all members, specifically gdfthrschill.

The reason for Hummertech is to unite Hummer owners and future owners. Not to separate based on hummer knowledge or lack of understanding. Hummertech is a new forum, yes the same old people might be posting, but as a group we share a great deal of knowledge and experience regardless if we have low membership. I think all Hummer owners like to share their experiences and eventually we will have large group of people all sharing them.

Thank you Voodoo for stepping up and helping out on the question.

Justin

Easy up my man (or woman).  As Justin said my post was not meant as a blow-off.  If you look I put a link in my post to another thread referencing H3's bolt pattern and back spacing.  I though; from another thread by OP, that it was an H3 that was being referred to.  I did not give any attitude or state "Use the search function!!!"  I simply said to look a little as it was right there AND gave him a link for reference.  I did the search for him... isn't that helpful?  Like Justin said I didn't mean to be rude or short.  things get a little screwy going from mind to keyboard and intentions don't always show true.

I hope I or you (Voodoo) helped the OP as I was looking for the same info just a couple mnths ago.

Luke

P.S. Voodoo, which rig is yours?  Id like to see that combo.

Sorry guys... Just one of those days.....  I was in rant mode.

It would be nice to see more members and more post. I usually log in once a day to see whats going on and more times than not there are few new posts. Now I'm not looking for a chat room mind you. Just some meaningful dialog about something that's of interest to me. So when I saw gdfthrschill's question about offset, I thought cool, some info that I myself was researching a few months ago. I didn't mean to berate anyones response, I just thought that if I were to have asked that question and received those responses, I probably would not have bothered to come back.

Once again, Justin and Luke, I apologize.

No biggie.  I just didn't want anyone getting the wrong idea.  I was looking for that info as well and knew where to find it on this forum so thats why I redirected him there; I was lazy and didn't want to retype it.

I also; like you, check this forum daily to see whats up and post once and a while.  There are alot of things I would love to do to my 3 but every mod out there for the 3 is SO expensive. (in comparison)

On a side note; I stopped by the dealership today of all days (-20 w/ windchill)   They had a bunch of H3x's there.  Some great colors as well; the burnt orange, maroon, new blue and they had a H2 in the new (superior) blue.  Sweet lookin rig for $64K.  Looks as though my dealership is stock alot of X's though, probably 80% (and only 1 H2 outside.)

By the way post a pic if you got one.

Luke

Just gotta warm it up...   It is making me thin hard about a remote starter though.  Temp reading in the 3 yesterday at 2:00 pm was 6 degrees and that is without windchill (and the wind was whipping).  Just a bit chilly in the Northeast!!
