I just installed the Magnaflow catback system on my '06 H3 this afternoon. I only took it for a short test drive, but liked the sound and maybe a little better throttle response. I still want to do something (?) with my air intake and then update my ECM. I have read that these mods will give you a nice little "boost" in performance.
I am very please with the quality of the Magnaflow exhaust. And the fitment was right on! A little tough for a one man operation, but nothing that a little time and patience couldn't take care of. I would have no problem recommending this system to anyone!

YO Sherrif! Welcome to the forums.Magnaflow is awesome. What was the cost of this mod?We have been talking about a pcm4kess group buy.You sound like you are just the man to get on the list.

I am definately thinking about PCM4Less. I live close to their location in Mooresville, NC, and have been thinking that I might just ride up there. I also have a connection with them through work that I am trying to see where that will lead. What are the specifics on the group purchase?
Again, THANK YOU for the welcome!!

I agree the Magnaflow System does sound better on the I5 then the V8 and it looks great too! Besides it's the first aftermarket system that I've seen for the Alpha and I've checked with Borla and they don't list one yet. If you see any more performance upgrades for the V8 come along let us Alpha owners know. It would be much appreciated.

No aftermarket exhaust system for me, atleast not yet anyway. I've got some other things on my list that are a little more important and my cash flow is not exactly "magaflow"!

Even though the ALPHA is loaded.I'm sure there are lots of mods you woukd like to do .As do I.You Already have new tires. Why not add some HP to that V-8??Then you would truly have a little monster.

I'd like to add an aftermarket exhaust to my H3 Alpha BUT you know what they say, "air in-air out" so I'd have to have a high-flow air intake to compliment the exhaust and they do not make a high-flow intake yet for the V-8. That's probably the easiest performance mod you can do to a vehicle.

But you could also just use a K&N filter. This will give you more air over the stock filter. And increase your HP.I think they cost about 50 bucks....K&N FILTERS RULE!!!!!

I was so focused on a high-flow intake I forgot about using just the K&N filter. First thing Monday morning I'm buying a K&N filter for my Alpha if they do indeed make one. I've used the filters before and yes they do rule!
I just checked K&N's website and the only item they list for the 08' H3 Alpha (V8) are oil filters. No air filters!

2007 H3 I5 3.7L Removed the factory smashed sections around the cat. and replaced with round pipe. Removed muffler and replaced with Large Magnaflow muffler. Cut the pipe in front of the resonator and looked inside, No restrictions 2 1/2" all the way thru. So we left on. The new muffler is thinner so you don't see it from behind. Sound is very quiet. Want more noise use the smaller magnaflow muffler. Just wanted the performance
