I am getting a feel for a trip to MOAB, UT. in 2009.

Let us know if you would have any interest in going.  At this time we are looking to see who would be willing to go, and more details would follow.

We figure with this being a big trip we need to plan this one well in advance so people could prepare for it.

Andrew I know you are in!Same goes for you Auggie.

I forgot to mention rear lockers are a must for MOAB.

At this stage, I would say that Linda and I are in.  We would likely only be taking one truck, and it would probably he hers.  I can drive hers, but she's a bit uneasy driving mine.  Plus, It would allow me to help you guys spot.

Let's ROCK!

Hey, Auggie said this is over Thanksgiving week. Is that what your were thinking because that gives us time to go back to K-ROCKS to practice over spring break. Im up for moab!!! I bet we can also even do alittle treasure hunting (cacheing) while were there in the area.

Yeah, we are going to see how everyones schedule is and take it from there.

I agree we need to do a tune up run at K-Rocks to get everything just right.

Has Auggie already downloaded the GPS coordinates for the Geocaching?

I'm along for the ride...maybe some walking...can I be the one to video and take pictures???   I think we are planning on driving and doing some sight-seeing on the way back if anyone is interested...possibly the Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns and such.  Holly & any other ladies when they go to do the extreme trails, I say we hit a spa !!

I would love to go there and give it a try.  I might even be able to talk michelle into going if the ladies are going to the spa and sight see is a must.

Chad,

We are going to have to get you a rear locker installed before that trip.

Sounds like lots of fun!  I am hoping to get my rear lockers installed prior to our next off roading trip anyways, so I'll be ready to rock-n-roll.   Working on getting some new shoes too!!

I live in SLC, Utah but I have an office in Houston that I visit frequently(if that counts).  Do you mind if I come in 2009??

It looks like the National HUMMER Club is going to Grey Rock ORV in about 2 weeks.  It is near Fullerton, Alabama which is just north of Birmingham.  From Houston it's about 10 hours (I-10 east to Baton Rouge, then I-59 north to Birmingham).  Check out their site and pics.  Might be worth visiting sometime in the future.
