Hey all- New to this forum. Looking for help re: replacing the instrument cluster in 2005 H2SUT. Got a new one, then I heard this rumor that some GM Vehicles won't start after a new cluster is put in. Anyone ever done this? Let me know. Thanks!!!!

Are you replacing the whole cluster or are you putting in a gage "appearance kit"?

No, everything should work after they update the computer.  Did you have to change the cluster because the speedometer was not working?  The dealer did not cover that under warranty?

The main cluster has to be replaced to fix it you can buy one from a dealer or there are qiute a few companys that sell replacement clusters online.
