Hello,
I own a 2007 Hummer H3. I just moved to Bend Oregon and started using the local gas not knowing it contained E85.. I had to take it to local dealer and replace the injectors because they said this vehicle is not set for E85 fuel, is this correct? Also is there a difference between E85 and 10 Ethanol fuel? If my Hummer is not compatible, I see on the forums something about (Model 6VA Delphi) unit. Will this solve the issue? Thanks for any help,

Your H3 will not run on E85 fuel.
Your H3 will run on what is called the blended fuel which is 90% regular fuel and 10% Ethanol. The reason it will run in this configuration is that the concentrate of ethanol is far less than 85% ethanol and 15% regular fuel.
I am not sure on the conversion kit to run on E85.
I have found that running E85 as apposed to regular unleaded was not very beneficial. Your fuel mileage goes down considerably running E85. Yes it is cheaper, however you would be filling up more often so it about equals out.
E85 is a great alternative for now, but I can't understand why the price as gone up with normal Gas? I would save the looking into this conversion and look into something like HHO (Browns Gas). http://www.water4gas.com I'm doing this conversion on a test car this month!
