I use synthetics in all my vehicles. You can get up to 25,000 miles out of your oil if you use the right products, your choice. If you doubt the 25,000 mile claim you can have your oil tested by an independent lab which will tell you what is wearing in your engine and how many miles is actually left on your oil. If you like Royal Purple read some independent testing results when compared to others like Mobile One or Amsoil. In most cases the Royal Purple failed or came in the bottom of the list. Mobile one is the second best oil on the market, I used to use it. Make sure you use a synthetic based filter to get the extra protection and surface area to keep the oil filtered. My personal oil is Amsoil, its NO 1 by independent testing and protects against wear better than Mobile One. Being an Authorized Dealer of Amsoil products I can help any of you out with synthetic products for your Hummer to your lawnmower. Anyone from the TGCHOG I will make special deals on Amsoil products. If anyone is interested please PM me or email me. I cannot sale products thru the forum due to posting rules, but I will be more than happy to assist anyone who needs the products. If you want to monitor your engines wear with oil testing I can also assist you with that. It cost about $20 to order a sample bottle and shipping tube, I have a pump on order to pull samples for the engine sump thru the dipstick. I ordered the Amsoil 0W-30 Series 2000 oil last night for my new H3. The Series 2000 oil in 0W-30 is the ultimate low viscocity oil for improved performance, protection and MPG increases. I will post milage results when I get the fluids changes. Currently running just above 15 MPG on the GM oil.

Is there any way for you to post your results? Amsoil is good stuff. I would also like to see the reults for Royal Purple. I used to use it in my 400+ HP Corvette and had great results with it. The test results I saw for it were good. Granted not as good as the Amsoil results I saw. I just had and inside source for Royal Purple so it was a very affordable option at the time. I do know it had a lower flash point. I never pushed the mileage though so I never pushed the limits of the oil and wear and breakdown. I also know Justin used it in his 500 hp SS. (He had the same source I did)

Hear is one example, the results are actually posted in the magazine if you search for it. http://www.performancemotoroil.com/Royal_Purple_info.html Like Mobile One? http://www.performancemotoroil.com/Mobil_1_test.html I stumbled onto Amsoil doing research on Motorcycle oil for my Honda VTX 1800. After reading and getting opinions I switched. What I did was get a preferred member account for 6 months which costs $10. It paid for itself the first order, and I got dealer pricing. A one year preferred member cost $20, a dealer costs $30. If anyone wants to become a Preffered member you can sign up under my dealer number. It helps build the network of users and dealers. I can order oil in five minutes and two -three days later its on my doorstep waiting. I love it. I am more than happy to sell anyone oil and make money, but why pay me, get a preferred membership, put your daily drivers on an extended oil change and save some real money. My buddy at work has an SRT-10 Dodge Ram. For his 10 QTs of mobile one which Dodge uses cost him over $100 to change. I gave him my price because we are friends and it cost him about $75. If he goes 12,500 miles he saves over $200, if the oil passes analysis at 12,500 and he goes to 25,000 miles he saves over $400 from using the extended Amsoil intervals.

I will be shooting you an email. I drive 80+ miles a day. I know I am going to have to be changing the oil a lot in my Honda.
