It is time to replace my shocks and I would like to hear everybody's input. At this time, I am looking at the Fox off road shock absorber kit.  I have the bilstien on at this time and they have held up well . The rancho 9000 I had on my last truck did not do well for me. They were way too soft which led to a bouncy ride.

The best shocks I know of come from TASER International.  50,000 volts of pure excitement!

I'm looking as well! I'm looking at King Shocks or Fox. Robby Gordon uses King on his H3.

So the Rancho's are bouncy? How long did they last? if that's the case I'm wondering about adjustability, could they have been to firm or to soft? did you use the control module? Sorry for all the questions!

They lasted about 3k miles. And they were the adjustable shocks. After a short time they were so bouncy you could not control the truck. I felt like a boble head trying to drive. I took the off and sent them back to rancho and they could not tell me why they wore out so quick. I off road a lot but I feel they should of lasted longer.

I think that the fox shocks are going to be your best bet.  Especially since you do off road alot and they been proven to be a long lasting shock for the racing teams that use them.  And since it is oil cooled shock I believe they will have a great ride to them and you won't get any shock fade to them.  And don't forget what they told me " These will be the last set of shocks you put on the truck!".  Pretty bold statement.  And if anyone is going to put that to a test, it would be you Auggie.

I put the Fox shocks on our H2 this week and they make a big difference in the ride.  My old shocks were so worn out that you could compress them by hand.

Well I have finally put the Fox Shocks on and they are worth every penny.  The ride around town is alot better.  There is hardly anymore body roll or lean when you turn a corner.  And the handling is better is cornering.  Now off road this is where you can tell the biggest difference.  They allow the wheels to stay on the ground more.  There is deffinately no more shock fade.
