I went onto the beach with the truck last week and aired down the tires before I went out there. The Low Tire Pressure light came on, which made sense. After wheeling, I aired back up. The light stayed on, but after I turned the truck off and started it again, the light did not come back on. That seemed right. Now, the Low Tire Pressure light keeps popping on. Seems to be random. When I start the truck, it comes on sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone know what the issue is here?

6 pack I have experienced the same problem, the h3's are equipped with wheel sesors that indicate the tire pressure, they are very sesitive.Look in your owners manual and it will tell you how to do it,if its been a while you will have to take it to your local dealer and they have a special wheel sensor tool that they scan on your tires and resets the sensor, the dealer will do this for free, it takes about 3 minutes if u cant reset it yourself.

had the same problem .was running 32psi and the light was comming on sometimes.I pressured them up to 35psi and did not have any more problems.you should not need to reset your sensors unless you rotate your tires.but if you do it is very easy,,,

Thanks for the reply guys. The problem has gone away since I aired up more. It had been suggested to me that since I aired up after coming off the beach, my tires were probably still hot, which caused the air inside them to expand. After the truck sat for a while and the tire air had cooled, the pressure dropped enough to set off the low pressure sensor. I must have been right on the threashold (sp?) between setting it off and not. So I would get in and it would be cold and the sensor would come on, then I would drive for a short bit and it heated the air up enough to expand the pressure and turn the sensor off. A learning experience.

FWIW..I run 40PSI in mine, I have the 285 size Bridgstones...Ride is firm..but I think if you run between 35 and 40 you should get a little better mileage and better tire wear too..
