I talked to somebody at ARB not long ago, and they said that they really wanted to release a front locker for the H3, because they thought there would be alot of demand, but wouldn't do it (release the locker) due to the diff just not being strong enough.  Something about the ring gear / casing, and that diff just being too subject to going kaboom.

In the new alpha, a stronger front diff is present, and lockers may well be on the way now (that guy from ARB didn't even know the alpha existed).

So H3 folks might get the twin-greatnesses of stronger front diffs AND front locker availability.  The H3 could be a beast with that combo!

The problem is the H3 diff is aluminum and it flexes too much for a locker. The alpha will have a cast front diff that won't flex. Eaton makes a locker that will fit in it. We will see as soon as ours gets here.
