My Windshield wippers are going wild! I can move the wires around and they stop temparly. Any suggestions on where the short is? I can seem to find it. Also, my fluid is pumping out.

Any help would be great!

Sounds like a issue with the Control unit. Something you would most likey want to have replaced under warranty if possible, pricey! I have heard of it causing issues with the mirrors as well.

This is a known issue is some H2's and H3's. Don't think it's a large overall problem with Hummers

I used to see some early '03 H2's with a wiper motor that retained water and did what you are talking about. I think you can get just the module that mounts to the motor. If not replacing the motor is a hair tricky. I don't recomend for the light do it yourselfer. If you want to try to do it yourself post again and I'll put a few details to help out.

Thank you, I just left in the garage over the holiday... it's not doing it now. Is it hard to find out if it is water in the motor? what tools do I need?

Thank you...

It takes a bit of a firm but gentle hand to pull that cowl off. I always replace the 4 metal retainers that go in the center because they get destroyed when removing the cowl. once you get it removed all you have to do is unplug the wiper and ther will be water trapped in the plug.

Dealer. I don't think you can gat them anywhere else. They are the only metal retainers for the cowl and there are 4.

Well... I finaly was able to remove the cowl and unplugged the motor parts, I did see a little water deposits. I shot can air in and cleaned it off. I was able to save the clips to. We will see if that corrects it, I also put a little grease to see if help protect it. Thanks for your help YSRJUNKIE!
