Found this software based scanner that has almost all of the features of the factory scan tools except reprogramming.
You have to have a laptop or a pda to connect to it. http://www.autoenginuity.com/index.html
Bidirectional control of various components and active tests, readiness monitor status and results, plus enhanced codes for all manufacturers that you purchase. I am looking into this software for work. Added to hptuners software for playing with our trucks programming it would be a great little software setup for pretty much everything needed.
