Driver’s Wanted for
the 3rd Annual
MD Anderson Hummer Run
Date: Saturday, September 6
Time: 9:15 a.m.
Where: Ron Carter HUMMER
We will be meeting at Ron Carter and driving over to MD Anderson via police escort by Alvin PD. We will then pick-up the children and their families for a fun filled morning driving them around the test track at Ron Carter HUMMER. After that, we will drive them over to Victory Camp in Alvin, where the families will enjoy an afternoon of games, rides, and even more fun.

i will be there also, but my purple H3 isn't near as big a hit with the kids as your red H1

I unfortunately will not be able to make the event, however Stacia and the boys will be there to help out as much as they can. It truly is a great thing when we can give back to the community and the kids like this.
Sometimes we take for granted the little things in life that might seem small to us, but to a kid or even an adult this could really give them hope and make their day.

My vacation request for that day has been approved.
Since I'll already be at MD Anderson, do you want me to meet you there or do you need my "Lights" for the convoy from the dealership to MD Anderson? Either way works for me.

Thank you to all of those who have responded to the MD Anderson HUMMER event for this Saturday, September 6th!! Please remember to be at Ron Carter HUMMER no later than 9:15 a.m.!! We will leave Ron Carter and head out to MD Anderson and pick-up the kids and their families bring them back to Ron Carter and drive them around the off-road track; then we will drive them over to Victory Camp in Alvin. We are expecting about 75 – 90 kids. At this point it looks like we have about 15 drivers….and we will definitely need more. If you are interested in participating, please give a shout out here!!
We would really like to make this a memorable day for these kids and their families – and for us too, this is a great way for us to give back to the community and in HUMMERS at that!! A BIG THANKS goes out to Dale, his mom, and family for the 60 teddy bears they made to hand out to the kids at this event!! Again, if you are willing and able and would like to participate in this event, please let us know ASAP!! I have included the list of drivers I have so far….so if you’re not there and want to be let me know.

There is a revision….
Instead of us driving to MD Anderson, the kids will be arriving via bus to Ron Carter. Sooo….PLEASE BE AT RON CARTER NO LATER THAN 9:15…the kids will be arriving around 9:45. We will still be driving them over the Victory Camp in Alvin.
Thanks again for all of the help in making this a success!! We now have about 20 drivers…so come on folks, come have some fun and put a little light in to these kids faces!!

I just wanted to say "THANKS" to eveyone that showed up today!! It was awesome to see the looks on the kids faces going on the off-road track!! They loved it. I ended up taking over 400 pictures, and James will have them up soon!!
Thanks again to Dale, his mom, and his family for the hard work and dedication they put into the beautiful teddy bears that were given to all the kids...what a special gift that they will always have of this fun filled day!!
We have an amazing group of people...so "THANKS"!!!
